Little Summer Helpers

Well its coming up to that time of year again, the summer months are upon us!

Last week whilst attending a bbq with my 2 year old and 4 month old, my 2 year old was bitten by a mosquito (yes they are out already)!
This lead me to ponder what I could use as a mosquito repellant this summer as there will be many nice evening spent outside in the backyard.
As I was searching I stumbled across many different options and products, traditional aerosol sprays herbal scents, citronella candles and repellant bands.

One evening last week I sat down to look at the different products available for kiddies. I happened to stumble across a website called Babybottles.com.au.

I have bought many baby products online during the past couple of years but I hadn't set eyes on this baby store before. Amazing they had a great selection of not only baby bottles and other parenting products, but also stocked a couple of mosquito repellants for kiddies.

One is Cherub Rubs Baby Skin Guard which is a gel based lemon and eucalyptus blend efficient in repelling pesky mozzies and flies.
The other is Pigeon Anti Mosquito Wipes, which are conveniently imbedded into wet wipes to quickly wipe over busy little kids to help keep them mozzie bite free.

I have previously tried the Cherub Rubs Baby Skin Guard on recommendation on from a family member from the tropics and found it worked great.
I am certainly going to put in an order for the Pigeon Anti Mosquito Wipes as they seem to be a quick and effective way to protect toddlers and kids on the go!

Bounncce - a - Leen

Bounce - a - Leen as my 2 year old daughter would call them. Well there are many to choose from!

My Pa bought the girls a trampoline from Kmart last christmas. A few short months later a thunderstorm ripper through and blew it up in the air and it landed on the back fence. Long story short - trampoline will cost more to repair then to replace.

This led to my dilemma..

Do we get another cheaper trampoline that may only last a year or two, or should we invest a bit more money into something a bit more long lasting with cheap replacement parts that we can cheaply regenerate if we need to.

After much discussion and dilemma we decided to go with the bigger investment for a higher quality product.

After hearing the words bounce - a - leen more times than any person should in a life time we decided to go with a Vuly Classic trampoline - with an anchor kit this time (you learn from your mistakes)!
